Calendula has a long history of use as a wound-healing and skin soothing treatment and can be used to treat a range of issues.
Calendula has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial properties making it beneficial in the treatment of:
– Minor skin lacerations, abrasions and grazes
– Minor skin infections, yeast infections or rashes
– Eczema or dermatitis
– Eye irritations such as conjunctivitis
– Slow healing cuts and cuts in people or animals who have compromised immune systems.
Calendula may also be helpful in soothing and relieving itchy skin.
